March 26: Hofstra University’s Joan and Arnold Saltzman Community Services Center Presents Community Services Day
Hofstra University’s Joan and Arnold Saltzman Community Services Center is presenting a free Community Services Day on Saturday, March 26, 2011, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Highlights of the day include free speech and hearing screenings, a concert for children, demonstrations of treatments that utilize virtual reality technology, and parent and family presentations.
The Saltzman Community Services Center at Hofstra University houses the nationally-accredited Diane Lindner-Goldberg Child Care Institute and four clinics:
• Marriage and Family Therapy Clinic
• Psychological Evaluation, Research and Counseling (PERC) Clinic
• Reading/Writing Learning Clinic
• Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic
These clinics serve people of every age, with a variety of needs, for a low cost fee.
