From Doctoral Candidate Yael Aboulafia:
I am a doctoral student in the Clinical/School Psychology Program at Hofstra. I am working on collecting data for my dissertation with my sponsor, Kim Gilbert. I am looking for psychology students who could assist me with data collection. I am implementing a social skills intervention to preschool children with Autism. Data collection takes place in the child’s school. The commitment would entail 3 days a week for about 2 hours each day.
The study is 7 weeks long and I will begin collecting data the week of September 19th. Students who have experience working with children would be great but not required. No resume or GPA required. They would need to commit to a minimum of 3 days per week and have a car to travel to Glen Cove or Lawrence. I will train them in data collection (next week). The only requirement is that they have to be fingerprinted or are willing to get fingerprinted ASAP (in Brooklyn). Please contact Yael for more information: Yael Aboulafia, M.A. Doctoral Candidate Ph.D. Program in Clinical & School Psychology Hofstra University email@example.com
