Undergraduate Research Day is dedicated to showcasing student research, especially as it culminates in the completion of an honors thesis and project. This year UGR Day will take place on the first reading day: May 9, 2013. This is a great opportunity for undergraduate researchers to present their results, usually either as a lecture (with or without Power Point) or as a poster. Please discuss the possibility of presenting your research with your faculty supervisor!
Visit the undergraduate research day website for details and photos from last year: http://www.hofstra.edu/Research/research_undergraduate_researchday.html
In March, up to ten (10) students will also be selected to present their research at the Colonial Academic Alliance (CAA) conference, which takes place this year at University of Delaware, April 12-14, 2013. Students have found this opportunity to present with their peers from other institutions an enriching, even transformative event, and a great transition to graduate or professional school or any career.
