Daniel Gilbert’s Lab at Harvard University is accepting applications for volunteer research assistants for the summer. The ideal candidate is a motivated undergraduate or recent graduate with a keen interest in social psychology. Research experience is an asset but not a necessity.
Research topics relate to affective forecasting, the role of shared experience, altruism, self-knowledge, and judgment and decision making. Interns work approximately 35 hours a week; this includes study preparation, data collection (in the lab and in the field), analysis, and lab meetings.
The opportunity is for summer 2013, early June through mid-August. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until all positions are filled, with a final deadline of March 15.
To apply: please send a CV, unofficial grade report, and your availability between June and August to email@example.com.
