Applications to Law Enforcement, Counterterrorism and Threat Assessment

Professor of Linguistics, Director of the Graduate Program in Forensic Linguistics, and Director of the Institute for Forensic Linguistics, Threat Assessment and Strategic Analysis, Hofstra University

In this presentation Professor Leonard will explore Forensic Linguistics and its techniques and methods. He will discuss Demographic Linguistic Profiles, Authorship Analysis and Threat Level Analysis and their applications to domestic and foreign terror campaigns, threats to government officials, workplace, schools, and private individuals, extortion, ransom notes, criminal intelligence disinformation and intercepted communications.
