I am a doctoral student in the Applied Organizational Psychology program and I am conducting research for my dissertation.
My research involves teams, virtual teams, performance metrics, interdependence, KSAOs, validity, and communication. Participants try to solve a murder-mystery game, and complete a questionnaire afterwards. I am looking for someone who can commit to 3-5 hours per week. The study will be conducted on-campus, in Hauser Hall during the hours of 9am-7pm on Wednesday and Thursday. Data entry skills/experience is important and preferred. I am looking for someone who is responsible, punctual, detail-oriented, highly organized, and trustworthy. The study involves computers, so the successful candidate will be proficient with computers (i.e. able to troubleshoot problems and find solutions). A B+ or better in Research Methods is preferred. If the student is looking to practice or learn statistics, those opportunities could be available at his/her request (stat skills are not required). This position is unpaid and should only last for this semester.
Those who are interested should contact firstname.lastname@example.org with a resume, information about his/her availability, and class standing (Freshmen, Sophomore, etc…).
