Volunteer research assistant opportunity – NYU

The Family Translational Research Group conducts research on a wide variety of cutting edge topics ranging from (a) how anger, conflict, and family violence affect children’s and adult’s psychological and physical functioning to (b) defining maltreatment in ways that can be reliably used by field workers to (c) understanding how couples’ conflict dynamics relate to violence to (d) furthering our understanding of risk and protective factors for child maltreatment and partner abuse.

We are currently looking for undergraduate and graduate level students who might be looking to gain more experience in the field of psychology by completing an externship with our group. This externship requires a 2 semester commitment and students typically work 12 hours each week. For more details and to view the application, click here.
