Dr. Sarah Novak and recent Hofstra graduate John DiMeglio are seeking one or two volunteer research assistants to help with on-going research. The project deals with aspects of social and cognitive psychology, focusing on body image. After training, assistants will be asked to run experimental sessions and assist with data entry. The commitment is roughly 3-5 hours per week, but the hours are flexible. Eligible candidates must have earned a B+ or above in Research Methods and Design (PSY 141). Having taken Social Psychology or Cognitive Psychology is a plus, but not required.
