Lab manager in Cognition, Attn, Perception, Speech

The Department of Psychology and Education at Mount Holyoke College seeks applications for a full-time Lab Manager to assist with research in the Cognition Attention Perception and Speech (CAPS) Lab. This is a full-time, 2-year, 12-month benefitted academic position with the possibility of a one-year renewal.

Research in the CAPS Lab explores a variety of topics in language, including speech production, prosody, and reading comprehension. The Lab Manager will coordinate all lab activities including the following: Designing and running behavioral, eye-tracking, and event-related potential (ERP) experiments; recruiting and scheduling participants; training and supervising undergraduate research assistants; maintaining laboratory paperwork and IRB documentation; coordinating lab meetings and research schedules; assisting in data coding and analysis; and assisting with writing papers and grants. This position is ideal for individuals who want to further their research training.
