Professor Maureen Craig is currently seeking a full-time Lab Manager to begin in August or September 2016 for a 2-year commitment. The Lab Manager will work closely with Dr. Craig to coordinate and conduct research studies related to diversity, intergroup relations, social cognition, and political psychology. The Lab Manager will also manage laboratory activities, such as planning research events & meetings, scheduling & recruiting participants, maintaining laboratory computers & equipment, maintaining the lab website, interviewing & supervising research assistants, managing grants and IRB protocols, preparing stimuli, programming experimental tasks, preparing & analyzing data, reviewing literature, and editing manuscripts. In addition to assisting with on-going projects, the lab manager will have an opportunity to develop his or her own studies. The Lab Manager will also have the opportunity to participate in the broader intellectual community in the NYU Department of Psychology. This position would be an excellent fit for an individual looking to strengthen his/her research skills before applying to graduate school in psychology.
