Research Assistant – Neuroplasticity and Motor Behavior Laboratory

Moss Rehabilitation Research Institute (MRRI), part of the Einstein Healthcare Network, is seeking to fill a full-time position involving a mixture of federally funded research under the mentorship of Shailesh Kantak, PT, PhD.In this role you will be responsible for:

  • A range of research activities related to brain mechanics that underlie motor learning and motor recovery in people with and wothout neurological damage
  • Developing effective, evidence based rehabilitation treatments for patients with neuromuscalar disorders
  • Learning opportunities working closely with individuals with stroke, traumatic brain injury, and/or cerebral palsy
  • Gaining experience working with latest technological advances such as non invasive brain stimulation techniques and motion capture
