Applications are currently being invited for a 2-year Research Assistant position available with the Child Mind Institute. This incumbent will assist the research site staff in conducting data collection for the Healthy Brain Network (HBN), an exciting new initiative aimed at collecting imaging, genetic, and phenotypic data from 10,000 children and adolescents throughout NYC. They will work from one of many different HBN sites and, under the supervision of clinicians, will directly interface with research participants to conduct recruitment, scheduling and administration of research assessments. A multitude of assessments will be administered to participants including cognitive and behavioral testing, physical fitness, fMRI, EEG and blood draws. The CMI fosters a collaborative environment where Research Assistants have the opportunity to gain excellent clinical and research experience, with the potential for publication.
