Fall 2016 internship opportunity with a Supreme Court Judge in Queens County, civil term
This internship is an excellent opportunity for any psychology major considering a career in law or forensic psychology. The intern will have an opportunity to learn all aspects of how a Supreme Court chambers operates both administrative operations and legal operations. The intern may have the opportunity to conduct legal research, assist in drafting decisions and jury charges, assist in answering questions from attorneys and litigants, aid in the administrative preparation and processing of judicial opinions, assistant in keeping the court calendar and lend technical computer support. The student will receive the necessary supervision and guidance from the staff of the chambers and courtroom personnel.
