A Research Specialist position is available in Nathaniel Daw’s lab in the Princeton Neuroscience Institute at Princeton University. The Daw lab focuses on computational approaches reward learning and decision making. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day laboratory operations and work with the researchers to design and perform experiments.
This is a one-year position with the possibility of renewal contingent upon funding availability and performance.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working individual to i) perform general lab management duties; ii) manage laboratory ordering and purchases; iii) assist researchers with experiments; iv) other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS) in Psychology, Neuroscience or related field.
1 year minimum of laboratory experience pre- or post-baccalaureate.
Experience with quantitative techniques in neuroscience and psychology.
Excellent organizational skills.
Coursework in statistics, economics, computer science, or a related field.
Proficient with quantitative analysis of neural and behavioral data.
The final candidate will be required to complete a background check successfully.
