Research assistant position for the RI Consortium for Autism Research and Treatment (RI-CART) and a sub-study with the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities (CADD) inpatient unit. Also, general support with the Developmental Disorders Genetics Research Program (DDGRP) at Bradley Hospital. Under the general supervision of the ADDIRC Investigator, Giulia Righi, PhD. and the program Research Coordinator, assist in the patient assessments and analysis of participant information for clinical research projects. Work in collaboration with the CADD unit team to interview participants and/or families and obtain informed consent. Gather assessment data through direct interview, staff input, and chart review. Prepare and maintain study record. Learn electronic database (i.e., REDCap), enter data, and perform quality control procedures. Check all questionnaires and study materials for completeness. Participate in qualitative/quantitative analysis of data and possibly assist in first draft preparation of manuscripts. Review relevant literature to gather information. Assist in recruiting efforts to procure participants (e.g., contact providers, attend fundraising efforts of partners). Contribute to and take minutes for Genomics Study group calls and also provide some support for ongoing DDGRP research studies.
